The best evening outfits are mostly subtraction. Start with a black dress you can move in, then let one accessory carry the color. Oxblood and cognac leathers glow under warm restaurant light in a way black bags never will.
How to wear it
- Keep the dress plain. A clean neckline and a midi or longer hem look deliberate rather than dressed up.
